1. General Overview
By scheduling a service with Blue Ink Signing Solutions a DBA of KLH Business Management, Inc. ("we," "our," or "the Company"), clients agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are designed to ensure professionalism, timely service, and compliance with Florida law. Failure to comply may result in cancellation of services without refund.
2. Final Rate & Payment Policy
- Final Rate: Pricing is based on a combination of:
- Transaction type (e.g., general notary, loan signing, RON)
- Number of notarial stamps
- Number of signers
- Page count
- Document type (e.g., specialty documents)
- Digitization needs (Remote Online Notarization)
- Travel and location (mobile, jail, hospital, port, etc.)
- A non-refundable $25 deposit is due at the time of booking.
- The remaining balance will be charged automatically to the card on file after the appointment.
- If payment fails, it will be retried daily until the balance is paid in full.
- Specialty services and travel to healthcare facilities, jails, detention centers, ports, and airports may incur additional charges.
3. Cancellation & Late Policies
- Cancellations made with less than 6 hours’ notice will forfeit the $25 booking deposit.
- Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late without prior notice will be charged a $25 late fee.
- If a client fails to appear or notify us, the appointment will be canceled and the deposit forfeited.
4. Appointment Preparedness
- Clients must be fully prepared at the time of the appointment with:
- All required documents (printed and ready unless prior arrangements made)
- Valid government-issued photo ID
- All required signers and witnesses
- If a client is not ready, the notary may cancel the appointment at their discretion and the deposit will not be refunded.
5. Document Submission Policies
Remote Online Notarization (RON)
- All required documents must be submitted at least 2 hours before the scheduled session.
- Failure to do so may result in rescheduling and a rebooking fee.
Mobile Appointments (Printing)
- If document printing is required, files must be uploaded or emailed at least 2 hours in advance.
- Failure to do so may result in the client needing to print documents themselves.
6. Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse service in accordance with Florida Statute §117.107(10):
"A notary public may not notarize a signature if the person whose signature is to be notarized does not personally appear before the notary at the time the notarization is performed."
Additional grounds for refusal include:
- Invalid, missing, or expired identification.
- Incomplete or suspicious documents.
- Signers who appear unaware, coerced, or mentally incompetent.
- Unsafe environments or inappropriate conduct.
7. Respectful Conduct & Behavior Clause
All clients are expected to treat our notaries with respect and professionalism. We have a zero-tolerance policy for:
- Harassment or threatening behavior.
- Asking a notary to commit illegal, unethical, or fraudulent acts.
- Pressuring a notary to act outside their legal duty as a commissioned officer of the State of Florida.
Violations will result in immediate termination of the appointment and forfeiture of all payments.
8. Apostille Services Disclaimer
Blue Ink Signing Solutions is not liable for delays related to apostille processing caused by:
- Government agency delays or shutdowns.
- Delays from third-party shipping carriers (USPS, FedEx, UPS).
- Lost, damaged, or misrouted mail once shipped.
We act as a facilitator, and delivery timelines are subject to processing speeds of the appropriate Secretary of State or Department of State.
9. Specialty Services & Fees
Certain services may incur additional or custom pricing, including:
- Specialty documents (e.g., estate planning, international, real estate closings).
- Travel to hospitals, nursing homes, jails, airports, ports, detention centers.
- Appointments requiring extended wait time or after-hours availability.

10. Remote & Mobile Service Conditions
- Remote Online Notarization requires:
- A reliable internet connection.
- A working webcam and microphone.
- A device capable of running the secure signing platform.
- Mobile Notarization is conducted at:
- Safe, professional, or clearly designated private locations.
- The notary reserves the right to refuse service if the location is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.
11. Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for:
- Improperly completed documents not prepared by us.
- Rejection of documents by third parties after notarization.
- Delays in document return due to external factors such as government processing times or shipping issues.
- The legal effect or interpretation of any document notarized.
12. No Legal Advice
Blue Ink Signing Solutions does not offer legal advice or document preparation services unless otherwise stated and properly licensed. Clients are encouraged to consult an attorney for legal guidance.
13. Updates to Terms
These Terms & Conditions are subject to change at any time without notice. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
